The Cross

Nailed to a cross
With thorns on his head
I will never forget
The words that he said

Forgive them Father
They no not what they do
Praying for our salvation
His heart is always true

 

  

Breathing his last breath
Forsaken and alone
Loving us to the end
His life for our own.

Our sins were forgiven
In his word I read
Three days later
He rose from the dead
 

He's alive and well
With the Father he gives
His spirit to guide us
So that we may live

If you ask him to come
Into your heart
His word is true
He will never depart

He is the truth
If you believe it and say
You will see him in paradise
On judgment day

Every tongue will confess
Every knee will bow
Believe he is Lord
Salvation is now
